Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Tlalnepantla Plant
Ingredion Mexico celebrated the 60th anniversary of its Tlalnepantla Plant this year. The facility began operations in 1964, with the plant expanding and evolving its portfolio over time. A variety of Company leaders attended the celebratory event recognizing the plant’s diamond anniversary, including executive leadership team members Rob Ritchie, senior vice president of food and industrial ingredients Americas and Eric Seip, senior vice president of global operations and CSCO and other Mexico and LATAM leadership members including André Stolf, vice president of operations, texture & healthful solutions for US/Canada and LATAM and Jaime López, vice president and general manager - food & industrial ingredients Mexico & texture solutions food lead LATAM.
During the festivities, a history of the plant was created, and a special memorial plaque was placed.
"It was an excellent event commemorating the start of the plant in 1964, and even more so with the presence of our ELT members such as Rob Ritchie and Eric Seip,” said César Espinosa, vice president of operations, Food & Industrial Ingredients for LATAM. “With a magnificent presentation by José Luis León, our plant manager, for the history of the plant and the unveiling of the commemorative plaque. Also, the presence of our operators and employees who are an integral part of this historic event and play a part of the future history that is currently being written."
