Great Lakes Grain operates 29 grain elevator sites across Ontario and is a key corn supplier for Ingredion’s Canadian operations. In 2003, they were formed as a grain marketing partnership comprised of four farmer-owned co-ops which represent more than 2,500 farmer members. Recently, Ingredion’s commodities manager Kevin Hachler had a chance to talk to them about where our grain comes from and how it travels through our supply chain beginning with the farmer.
