Ready. Set. Corporate Challenge!

06/02/23

Ingredion's well-being impact team organized a group of 27 employees from the Company's corporate headquarters in Westchester, Ill., to participate in the 2023 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge. The event occurred in Chicago's Grant Park along the city's iconic lakefront. The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge is the world's largest corporate running event. Approximately 28,000 people from 675 Chicago-area companies participate in the annual event, which offers teams the opportunity to gather outside of work and enjoy the benefits of fitness, friendly competition and camaraderie.

"I love participating in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge," said Cori Cameron, Ingredion's global social media manager and well-being impact team lead. "It's been an event I've done with a few companies now, so I was excited when I had the opportunity to organize a team for Ingredion. I've always found it a great way to meet and spend time with colleagues from across the organization that I wouldn't have had an opportunity to work with or get to know in my everyday role."

"I appreciate the chance to participate in the Corporate Challenge with colleagues even though I'm not a big runner," said Pathik Bhatt, Ingredion's global marketing communications manager. "It's a great opportunity to do something fun and positive away from the office (spending an active evening outside in downtown Chicago) and a great chance to meet others at Ingredion."

Race organizers choose a local charitable organization each year as the event's beneficiary. UCAN, one of Chicago's oldest and most innovative social services agencies, was selected this year. UCAN helps build strong youth and families through compassionate healing, education and empowerment.
